My opinion on ai art is that it’s fun to play around with, but stealing someone’s art is a terrible use of ai.

Edit: for all the people who keep saying that “oh that’s how it learns” I understand that. But Ai is being used and people post it as art, and use it to steal art and claim it as theirs.

It’s a fascinating tool when it’s used ethically. There’s nothing wrong with an artist consenting to their work being trained or making their own prompt to train of their work or copyright-free work. The issue is that since it’s being run by larger companies the data isn’t being sourced ethically and the user is actually contributing to training that set by uploading their own photos as well.

There's people who are being called frauds because their art looks like Ai, when it was a fact that their art already looked like that before Ai. It's really disheartening as well when someone's art is used by someone else, run through the Ai, then sold for far more...it's a helpful tool for those who can't draw, but it's a very good tool for those with bad intentions sadly

A.I art can be really useful for getting inspiration, but my issue with it is that it often uses existing art to create its images, and the artists who made that art never get credit. They didn't even give permission.

I am an artist, and I do agree. Sometimes, when I am bored, I enter my art into the TikTok AI anime filter, and redraw what they give me because some of the drawings are very pretty.

I think AI art is really cool and a really useful tool to expand your artistic abilities. However when people decide to ignore real artist or abuse them of just posting an AI art as their own that is when it has gone to far.

I think if you own the art fed into the AI to train it then it is all fair game, specially in the case the art is not the final product as you had to go and make the doll itself. As a quick sketching/concept arting tool it is a nice thing.

AI absolutely is a fascinating tool, just unfortunately a harmful and even dangerous one in the wrong hands. As a professional artist I wish I could just enjoy it as a fun toy without thinking about how dystopian it's becoming. That being said, this doll is gorgeous, and you've translated the AI's interpretation of your work beautifully.

Personally (as someone who's also studying computer science) it's a very fascinating and incredible tool. I take no issue with the concept of AI inherently.

What I *DO* have an issue with is how it gets used. Like all things in life: the issue isn't the object, it's how the object is being used.
