The whole entire pandemic I heard Hawaiians say don't come to Hawaii.

Although Hawaii is a big island. I cannot visit a place that is in so much pain. I know being a tourist will bring in money into the island but how can you vacation and be happy knowing that the person who is serving you might have lost their house, and loved ones. It doesn’t seem appropriate to go snorkeling while search teams are looking for people. It feels inappropriate to go on any vacations in Hawaii until the people have rebuilt their homes, they fix their water issues, and who runs the police and fire stations. I wouldn’t feel safe in Hawaii with their water issues.

Lahaina is where you need to stay out of. It’s just a West part of Maui. The rest of the island is fine. Free flowing water & power everywhere else. Don’t want to visit & help out the families & economy fine.💁‍♂️

My time share is in Mexico, I felt like Mexico was getting sketchy. We went to Maui last time dropped about 10, 000$ on the trip . My wife spent probably 3000$ on tourist stuff we ate out every night 100$ burgers. I didn’t know about the local problem with tourist. It’s a tourist destination they need to figure it out. How many tourist died .mexico cost half as much. As tourist we need to think about the local people.

He is the only so-called resident that wants tourists to go there ALL the other resident that I've seen videos of say stay away! Do not believe or trust ANYONE that goes on corporate media or even one's like this small media go look for other footage from the independent people themselves or independent journalists that are compiling videos and/or doing interviews and make your judgment from those!

Yes.. No tourists to Maui! Because what other way could you let even more local families lose their homes & business? Is that what people want? Shops closing, families not buying food & economic downfall. Sounds really smart to me. Oh.. You want to rely on the Government to pay your bills. Yes that 1 time $700 check will go so very far. Wake up people.

If you can afford to vacation in Hawaii, you can afford to instead send them resources and money needed to bounce back, instead of burdening the land even more with extra humans.
