How does the battery hold up for longer cooks? Was looking at an inverter but your battery pack looks like a pretty good solution - and less expensive.

I just bought mine already built from Home Depot, no owners manual included. How do I get the temperature computer to work? There’s no way to do it with batteries? I have to use some solar charger and cable? I feel like my floor model may be missing something here, at least a cable for the power?

Found your firing up method interesting bud, I was always under the impression you closed the door after lighting the fire starter but leave the hopper open untill the smoke appears, but even more strangely removed the slides straight away to draw the smoke? However your method seems to work fine🤷‍👍
