This video takes a look inside SpaceX's Starship production line and factory in Boca Chica, Texas. We'll look at the different parts of the factory, and how it has grown from just being an outdoor space to now having tents and buildings. And what lessons has Elon Musk learned from setting up the factories for Tesla cars, that he has brought over to SpaceX to build the Starship.

Other topics covered in this video include:
• Why SpaceX is building the Starship rocket upright
• Why is the Starship pointy
• The different ways Elon Musk is making things go faster - from doubling the number of employees in one weekend, to having his rocket engineers invent new machines that build the Starship
• Why has SpaceX built their launch pad and factory so close together
• How Elon could be practicing building a city on Earth with Starbase Texas, before building his colony on Mars
• How the factory is able to build 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• And SpaceX's plans of buying oil rigs to turn into floating launch platforms

This is a very good mini docu to me. I really love what spaceX is doing in Boca Chica. I love witnessing the future being written as we speak. New subscriber here+like.

Just look at what this man has accomplished in the last 20 years. I can only imagine what he will have accomplished in the next 20 years

@4:08 for those who don’t know (including creator of this video) that large circular structure is not used! It was supposed to be used to construct carbon fiber starship; however this structure was scrapped a very long time ago. This was done because the design moved to a stainless body rather than the carbon fiber body.

Finally, someone did a research and represented the project realistically, without the FUD.
Small factual inconsistencies can be forgiven for overall quality of the video!

Small edit: They are made of 4mm thick rings. They are testing 3mm with test article 7.2 but as of yet, have not begun constructing rings out of 3mm thick steel, yet.

Innovation is a critical word which disappeared from Boeing and Lockheed's dictionaries a long time ago.

I've followed SpaceX closely since 2014 and watch every single NSF daily update vid as well as many streams as I can catch. Most channels that make these sort of videos miss the mark and just regurgitate the same old information but I actually learnt some stuff from this so well done
