10+ years of experience here. If you get the feeling that it is MORE REAL than than the state of wakefulness — it means you are not in the astral plane but more likely in the mental plane or even higher. Astral plane is made of emotions and can be too random at times and make you feel sleepy. Meanwhile mental projection allow you to travel in the plane where all the Universal information is stored, so called Akashic records.

I was in a dream but very aware I was dreaming. I was basically in full control. I was with my wife and she was upset at me for something. I looked around and knew I was dreaming. I told her we were dreaming. She looked at me with a 'yeah right' look. I told her I would prove it and I flicked my finger and my sons best friend appeared. I flicked my finger again and a large box appeared behind her, wrapped like a Christmas gift. I asked my wife if either of these two things were in our room before and she said "no, your right, we are dreaming". I told her she was in my dream but may not remember it but I wanted to try something. I told her that I was listening to a spiritual teacher who said that if you are in a dream and aware (lucid), find a solid object like a wall, door or window and walk through it. I told her to take my hand and we proceeded to walk through the window and wall. It was like walking through plastic wrap. It puffed out a bit and then I heard a noise I can only describe as a snap. I knew at that moment I had separated from my physical body. My wife and I were holding hands and floating at first and then we started to fly down to the ground. I looked around and it looked different than when I was dreaming. It looked as real as the physical plane but also different. I communicated with my wife but not verbally. I asked her where she would like to go and we both thought Hawaii. We had closed our eyes and then opened them and we were in a downtown area. I was thinking "if this is Hawaii, we must be in a town somewhere". It was almost dark out but well lite by street lights and lighted locations where people were. People looked happy, mingling and going about their way. I saw a round table by a small building. There were a few guys there, communicating, again, non verbally but I could hear them. One of the guys was about 6'4. I gave him a head nod and then I asked him if I could ask him a question. He said yes. I sat down and told him I thought I was in the astral realm. He said "of course you are....you know you are". I asked him if he was visiting and still had a physical body. He said no, his physical body had died due to an accident. I told him I was sorry and he dismissed it, saying he was happy and learning more than he ever could when his physical body was alive. I then looked at what was my body but different than the physical. I weight train and I am a pretty big boy so I decided to try something. I looked at my left arm and said I want it to be 2 inches bigger. My arm started to wiggle and then it grew. I did the same with my forearm, right arm and shoulders. Before I got to my chest, the guy said why was I doing this. He said nobody cared what I looked like here. He said it was my ego and until my ego died, I would not really grow as a spiritual entity. I was embarrassed so I reversed what I did and went down to my regular size. I excused myself to find my wife. I saw her to my left, on a building balcony, talking to someone. I flew up to her and the guy walked off. I looked to my left and saw a temple. It was about 8 stories high. It had walls but was hollow all the way down to the floor. I took my wifes hand and we flew all the way down to the floor. I was being cocky and landed in a matrix fashion, one knee up and my right leg stretched back, hands on floor. I looked up and for the most part nobody noticed my grand entrance. I felt like an ass of course so I got up to look around. I saw 5-6 people wearing a black and red robe with golden stitching. They were beautiful. In my mind I heard that they were teachers. I walked up to them. One of them told me to not ignore what the doctor will be telling me. I was like, huh. I dont understand. I just heard "you will". Another teacher told me something and I know it was a powerful message but I cannot recall what he said. We were there a bit longer before we left to explore more of the area. We came to a large place that looked like a square. There were people there but also other beings. One being was very tall and massive. His head looked like a lion for lack of better terms. He walked toward me and put his hand out, holding his pointer finger out toward my head. I jumped back, more or less freaking out due to its appearance and size. I knew he had communicated he had something for me. Then I heard him communicate something like "thats fine, how about this appearance". Another person of average size appeared to his left (my right). He did the same gesture and touched my middle forehead. I knew this was my 3rd eye. I felt a wave of electricity go through my head and then my body. I woke up shortly after, knowing something awesome had happened. I would also mention I had 2 dreams before this one where I knew I was dreaming. I guess they were lucid by definition.

The reason we leave our bodies every night it’s because the physical world is too dense compared to where our souls come from. So it’s a break from our spiritual beings having the physical experience. It allows us to stay in the physical experience longer

Hey brother,

Great video, very informative. The part about shifting from lucid to astral through meditation was *very* useful. Up to now I was using deepening techniques but for some reason they weren't working too well.

This morning I was dreaming and managed to become lucid, somewhere that looked like the garden outside my house, I sat down and started meditating on the idea of going astral (with my eyes open).

Piece by piece the things that weren't part of the actual garden/house started changing: a bush, the colour of the facade, people vanishing - the shift looked like somebody was changing television channels and making the image more lifelike and akin to how the house actually looks like - it was awesome and distracting enough to bring me out of focus and have my novice ass wake up within about 15 seconds.

Good stuff, thank you very much Mr Doorway.

I've been really scared to astral project. I realize I have a lot of fear in my waking life in general and I want to break that barrier but my logical mind always talks me out of trying. I remember my first time trying, I felt the vibrations and knew I was leaving my body but I just couldn't do it.
I feel like I've been unconsciously astral traveling for a long time, I've had so many dreams just talking to random people, going to different places and living life normally, sometimes noticing that even though it is almost identical to my reality something is off. I'm not sure if that was astral projection or not but those dreams felt very different.
I intend to keep trying and also try to educate myself about the topic. Thank you for making videos about this topic♥️

Im glad im not the only one. Everytime i realize in my dream that im dreaming ( lucid dreaming ) i always try to astral project my way out of it. In my dream i will stop everything that im doing and everything thats happening, i will sit in a meditative position and close my eyes, then i will concentrate and try to remember where im actually at in that moment. I will remember my bed, try to feel the position im in, visualize the interior of my room, think about what time it might actually be, the date, my clothes, my wife beside me and everything thats been going on inside my room in real life at the very moment that im in the dream concentrating. Then i will feel the vibrations and sensations like my spirit is being pulled or lifted out of that situation to reality all this while still trying to keep my body asleep. Im trying to balance my concentration and not think too much to avoid actually waking up. After the vibration and sensations pass, i will feel like im being put down by some force, sometimes gentle and sometimes in a rush. Then i will open my eyes and see my body sleeping right in front of me, and i will look around and see that everything is exactly where theyre supposed to be. And then the journey starts. But its not always like that . Sometimes the dreams are so deep it has many layers. Like you think you escaped the dream but you just escaped a layer of it and your still in the dream. It helps when youre not very sleepy when you go to sleep. Do not stay up late and try to keep your mind relaxed.

❤So glad to finally hear a coherent explanation of the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection. Also important, loved hearing the connection of consciousness and awakening in relation to astral projection

Thank you for the very informative video. Once upon a time I was in a lucid dream, I said to myself "When I walk through this window everything will be hyperreal" and immediately everything changed from a blurry, lucid dream to I think something like 140% physical reality, I couldn't bear this level of hyperrealism so my the dream body just dissolved into thin air and I was like cloud, few seconds after that, I woke up in very gentle vibrations

Hi, my mother and I are very spiritual people and I have never experienced Astral Projection until yesterday. I’ve had a few episodes of sleep paralysis but that was about it up until then. Usually my morning routine is I get up at 2am and go to the gym, then I get ready and head to work. I usually try to beat the traffic so I am at work about 1-2 hours earlier than I start and it’s a good time for me to take a nap. When I take a nap at work there have been moments where I hear footsteps walking all around me. It’s not something scary, it sounds more like people are working and walking around me. Well, yesterday it happened to me while I was napping before work and this time I got a little frightened, so I tried to wake myself up but I just couldn’t. So I told myself to just push my body up from the reclining chair and I did it! Only… it felt a little different. I was 3-5 feet off the ground and felt so light but like you said, it felt like as if I was awake. I went to the mirror to see what was happening but I could not see myself. When I turned around I could see myself sleeping in the reclining chair. I thought maybe I was Astral Projecting but o was having so much fun with it! I was flying around the room and even tried to visit my mom or go through walls (which was unsuccessful). I then rushed to the front of the building to look outside the window and it was extremely beautiful. I could still see a city with roads and building only there was more nature and colors were more vibrant. It almost felt like I was at peace and home. The only thing that made me go back was the fear of seeing something I was not ready to see yet (so fear of seeing a demon or dark figure) so I thought about returning to my body and I did! I just immediately returned and woke up and I remembered all of what happened. But now as hours go by I am starting to doubt myself if this was real astral projection or if it was just me having a very lucid dream. Would love to hear back from you and receive some insight.

Salute to you sir for doing great honest heart felt content that is knowledgeable on a totally different scale of reality. Hope more people start to realize how unconscious they are throughout the day and being self aware of their actions and thoughts.. very powerful how you view “reality” it’s a program that keeps you locked in until you find the key. Thanks brother, peace to you.

This is such a good explanation of worlds. We are multi dimensional beings! This popped up right when I had questions about this stuff. Is this a manifestation? See yall in the astral realm ✨

Meditate in the dream. I like it, I'll give it a try tonight. I'm always lucid dreaming, trying out new things, even when I stick around to experience the dream :)

Great stuff. I really like the way you explain things. I’ve been working on AP and Lucid dreaming for several years now and have had a few experiences. I had some where I pretty much figured i was lucid dreaming but it was tricky because the start was always mimicking astral projections like vibrations, floating away from my body, etc but i was not in my room. Decent level of lucidity but wasn’t what i expect of an AP. I think I’ve only had one actual AP where i clicked out for what seemed like a moment, and then awoke still in my room, no vibrations or anything but i began feeling like i was sliding off my bed until i reached the floor but it didn’t hurt. It was pretty dark in my room but i could tell I was next to my bed. It was very hard to move, legs felt heavy, etc and I’ve heard many others describe that way. I managed to move out of my room and then thought to float up but I still couldn’t see. I remember using my astral hands to pull open my eyes to see, that was a mistake because once i got them open i was then laying in bed looking at the ceiling. I have not been able to recreate that experience just quite a few lucid dreams that don’t last long but are very cool. I’m excited to hear you get into the “how”. I’ve read so many books, always thinking about it, trying to remember to do reality checks, etc. but need a fresh perspective and process to follow. Thanks for creating the channel! :)
