EDIT: There are a few combos that can include even 6 Cannons but they were not included as they are really hard to perform and require very specific timings on A1 and execution (or straight up FPS unlockers).

I just noticed his extra climb animation yesterday! I ended up spending a bunch of time practicing getting into that animation out of gliding with the midair attack - it’s insane how little actual climbing he has to do even outside of Natlan

I love that they experimented a lot (probably?) with Kinich's kit and it makes me very hopeful about the future Natlan or even just the playable characters in general that'll release in the future.

Something to note is that Kinich's grapple will ALWAYS have better distance when using it midair, as opposed to using it on the floor. If you want maximum distance while exploring make sure to jump before using his grapple

Tips on getting all the blind spots (pizza slices) - Without using his Burst

Press your attack button once the skill starts without pressing any movement input as Kinich will always moves towards the first blind spot.

Fire the cannon once fully charged then press attack button only. Don't input any movement until the blind spot appears to get to the next blind spot.

If you need to burst, Do it after you fire the 1st cannon shot, Attack then Move towards the Blind spot. If you do it right you will get 2 cannon shots in quick succession.

First most important Kinich tech: switch your voice-over language to Japanese for more Dattebayo and Susanoo points, and pair him with Yoimiya to give him the Unlimited Blade Works buff, which will increase his DMG by 1000% (in your mind.)

I've seen so many people say that a higher investment kinich needs a decent amount of crit rate bcs his first cannon shot is unbuffed... I can't believe that was all misinformation... Thanks for giving me the knowledge...

His climbing is actually even better!
Mid-air attack is possible after every skill usage. So it's skill -> climb -> attack -> climb -> skill -> climb -> attack -> climb, x4 wall runs as a result. And also when your'e on the wall, you don't need to aim your skill some specific way. Simply pressing skill "into the wall" right after releasing will activate wall run

FINALLY SOMEONE TALKED ABOUT THE QUICK HOLD, being able to get 5 cannons without burst is sickkkk, sometimes you gotta manually aim or it aims farther than where the enemy is and sometimes to their side but it makes it feels like quickscope flick and its epic lol. Great video man keep it up 👍👍

in natlan, you can [skill > ajaw climb > midair attack > ajaw climb]x2 for a total of 4 ajaw climb passives!! very good vertical and you can even charge up stamina from 0 to 40% ish while hovering in hold E state! u can scale mountains with kinich i love him!!!

Something I’d like to point out after trying him like it’s a new Mario/Spiderman game, he can do a mid-air attack after EVERY swing and since he can do the climbing vault after either a swing or a mid-air attack this means that you can actually wall vault 4 times in a single round in Nathan.

I do this by getting some distance from the wall using his skill towards the wall so he actually sticks, vaulting, dropping off for a split second to use mid-air attack while holding towards the wall and he’ll do another vault. Then jump AWAY from the wall and gain a little distance with glider to swing even higher up toward the wall so that he sticks and does another vault, and then repeat the step of dropping and mid-air attacking and thus you’ll get 4 vaults and a TON of wall height without consuming barely any stamina. (Note for walls that are sloped so you slide down them if not climbing, instead of dropping before a mid-air attack, always jump away instead and mid-air attack towards the wall. The timing is more tight but still doable.)

that's a very insightful and well made video, thank you a lot for this. I even saw another big tc77 going on paint to explain how Kinich is supposedly even worse than imagined in multi target because his big AoE hit is locked at the center of the enemy, not knowing you can literally aim it.
