It's such a shame that instead of EA fixing a broken game, they made a completely new game. I only wish that one day EA will fix most of the main issues in The Sims 3, like performance for example, can't get to one room from another without a lag spike or stutter.

It's 2017..I own Sims 3 and 4

I still play Sims 3, Even if it has performance issues..I found it more enjoyable..AND I DIDN'T GET A LOADING SCREEN WHEN I WANTED TO GO ACROSS THE STREE- But anyway, The expansions are fun..I enjoy going to different areas such as a college or China (France, Egypt.) And the game doesn't just have STUFF PACKS THAT ADD NOTHING TO THE GAME..

I loved the Sims 1 when i was a kid, me and my friend promised eachother that we would play it for 10 mins, and then go outside, but because the game was so fun, and so hilarious to play, we kept playing all freaking day long. I love the Sims saga, i pretty much grew up with it. Thanks GameSpot for another vid ;)

Hell yeah, the pc version excells the console versions a lot, buy the game on the special box that includes seasons and then buy late night on the same time you buy the base game since it is the best EP but does not include a version with the base game but seasons does and it is the second best. After that get hooked and by more EPs and have fun.

Eventaully, there will be a version for the Wii, PS3, and maybe 360. They had console versions for 1 & 2, so 3 will soon get one.

And to people saying to buy a cheap PC, they usually aren't cheap enough especially since you have to make it so the PC can run the game in the 1st place.

I was about to skip to the video, when I noticed the meme jokes in the university commercial. So I watched the whole thing

Well first are patches which fix issues and add a some tweaks to the game such as building a basement, lifetime sliders which allow you to increase or decrease the amount of time a sim can spend on each age so if you want a sim to spend more time as a Teen or young adult you can where in the original release they just had one general slider to cover all stages of life, plus all the expansion content such as nightlife, supernatural, and seasons plus mods and all that good stuff.

Real life friends, sorta around the release of Generations and Superstar they patched in the core game the ability to upload and share custom content and sims as well as minor community features so you can send updates and posts on what's going on in your town and your sims to friends and in the Superstar expansion they added the ability to have your Sim "go on tour" to your friends towns basically you can send them to their town and do a show.
