I often have the problem of thinking I can't come to Jesus unless I stop sinning first, but it's not what He taught. He came as a Doctor to heal the sick. I don't know necessarily if it's my own stubbornness and perfectionism getting in the way but i really need to do more.

Where aren’t there hypocrites? Who hasn’t done what they judge as wrong? All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. None are righteous before God. No not one.

I've always answered the hypocrisy statement with something along the lines of: "If you aren't a hypocrite, then your goals and your morality aren't high enough, and more than likely you keep it down to ensure that 'I'm not a hypocrite' while missing the opportunity to strive for so much more."

Well said. But I would not say we all are hypocrites because we don't play Christ perfectly. Hypocrite is the one who boast about his goodness and condemn other he don't think is as good as he is.
Hypocrite is the one who claim he has become sinless.
