Parents aren't described as all-powerful and benevolent though.
If there were a god he'd speak for himself and he wouldn't need mere humans hyping him up.

'In fact he's sitting right there!' Too funny 🤣

A fully armed policeman who witnesses a robbery in front of him and does nothing is useless.

You, parents, children, people are neither almighty or perfect... Would you stop all the evil if you had the power to do it?

My kids occasionally did do bad things. However, if they refused to ask for forgiveness, I didn't take them into the cellar and burn them in agony for eternity. That makes me different from Turek's all-loving, all-knowing God that demands everyone's obedience and worship. Any parent who has actually raised children knows that to expect to be worshipped is going to be disappointed; respect and love is as good as it gets.

Nothing but then you've provided no evidence that god exists.

But parents don't have the same qualities that theist claim God have.
So it kinda incomparable

My dad isn’t omnipotent or omnipresent so he can’t stop any evil I may do
God, in theory, should be able to stop evil instantly and without evil
The fact that evil exists means
A) god doesn’t exist or
B) he wants there to be evil

Well it means you are either not omnipotent or omnibenevolent or omnicient, and neirher is god.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

You have to be joking frank, seriously?
It has nothing to do with doing evil and not existing. It has to do with the fact that the entity you say exists and inspired the bible has told people to commit atrocities and has also committed their own atrocities all this from a entity you can not show exists.

It's not that he doesn't exist, it's that he's not worthy of worship!

...You say God exists! OK ! God created everything, so he created evil, 🤔!!

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of the problem of evil and frankly Frank knows better. Bad faith

Literally to the 1% who's reading this, God bless you, and may your dreams come true, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

It proves that you don't understand the problem of evil. (or that you don't want to understand it) (or that you don't want your audience to understand it).

Your choice.

It proves an all-loving God who is also all-powerful doesn't exist. That's why most Christians are moving over to "maximally" or something like that.

I imagine God's needing a new ottoman soon. Probably worn out. As it should be.

Except the parent then corrects the child, god does nothing eventhough it's supposed to be an all powerfull all loving being...strange

Maybe god actually did write his morals upon everyone's hearts and that's why there's so much evil in the world...they're just following his lead.
