I would have tried to sprint toward the exit just like Into The Dead 2 where the protagonist runs a certain distance and take breaks, I would learn how to avoid certain hazard and probably escape the facility, plus my fitness levels would increase making me run for more time and take less break from sprinting

There pretty much zombies (except for puro) they have no idea how to operate/work with tools so we can use that to are advantage with weapons like we can get one of the syringes empty it so it can't harm us get a metal pipe and attach the syringe at the tip to make a make shift spear then we can defend are selfs and we can also use dranes as seen in the beginning of the game when Colin leads a latex puddle in a drane to get rid of it so this things aren't invincible then to escape all factories have to have a way to let out smoke/gas and if we can crawl through the pipes then we're free

I’d lock myself in the nearest room by barricading the door and try and hide for a few hours. After that I’ll try and find Dr. K and ask him to make more of the cure he made and pick my favorite animal to become, then I’ll take a briefcase of the cure and instructions on how to use it and give it to my friends and family if they weren’t transferred yet. If they were then I’ll give it to any survivors I can find. If there are no survivors then I’ll stay in the building with dr.K and help him however I can while I become friends with Puro and eventually find Colin to tell him what happened and convince him to take the cure. Plan B is if I can’t do any of this then just find dr.K and if I can’t do that then just walk into the nearest pack of black goo creatures and hope for the best.

I would likely try to survive for as long as possible but when I run out of supplies and there is basically nothing left just choose a goo to join as it would likely be better than dying of starvation or thirst.
