☀️ Welcome Friends! Join me today on time lapse and some chat, as I spend 5 hours doing some much needed decluttering and organizing. I have a ❗️VERY SMALL ❗️sewing space! It doesn't take very much to create an overwhelming problem for me. I think this session put me in a pretty good place for the start of 2024! Great progress!!! My only suggestion would be table leg extensions to raise up your cutting surface. PVC pipes cut to 6 or 8" and placed over the table legs. Much easier cutting!

I try to go through my closet at least 3 or 4 times a year. It isn't even as large as yours, just a standard 6 x 2 ft bedroom closet with shelves and bi-fold doors. But, I can't fit everything in there, even. I also store plastic containers in my own bedroom, and under the corner desk in sewing room. I'm also a papercrafter, so I have too hobbies to keep tidy. I gave up a few hobbies I didn't really live any longer, so I have more space to store my favorites, with less effort, and I have more time to sew and craft.
After 4 + yrs of cleaning my folks house, I work to keep ours under control! "Hoarders" scares me, too!!

You did a great job and you gave me some ideas with making kits. I usually put fabric, pattern, and any thing else I might need for a specific kit I make for myself. I did not realize just how small your space was for your sewing but you came up with dynamic solutions for the allowed space.
