Still one of the funniest scenes in any move, perfect direction and timing. Drunk waiter was just superb, great acting. Sellers as usual, just fantastic.

This movie could never be remade. First, no one could come close to Peter Sellers and second, a large part of this movie is improv

Apparently the drunk waiter improvised his role, and it got bigger as the shooting progressed.

One of the best Peter Sellers movie. There were hardly 2 or 3 dialogs with one sweet song. RIP Peter.

Thank you for this. At the end of a trying day it has made everything alright again. What could be more therapeutic than a few good belly laughs.

I adore Peter Sellers, for me one of the greatest actor, not only for comedy, thinking of the beautiful character in the drammatic movie "Being there", of 1979. Watching this movie, for me one of the most funny film I had ever seen, I am quite sure that Peter Sellers (and Blake Edwards) had seen and studied the great Jaques Tati and his amazing character, Monsieur Hulot.

Did you hear the one about the trapeze artist getting a divorce? He caught his wife in the act.

If you think it's easy to be clumsy like that, just try it!
