I’m blessed to have this man on my side. I went through a lot of hell during Covid like others who saw through the veil.
Seeing people turn on each other so quickly is what scared me the most about the entire ordeal. I’ve read about this, but I felt it this time.

Jordan is making an excellent point here. I feel like this runs parallel with how the middle and upper class look down with such CONTEMPT towards the homeless people in the Edmonton and surrounding areas. The kind of people who make a 'donation' to the 'people in need' at the grocery store/restaurant are the same people who call the police on a couple living in their motorhome in a parking lot and then GOSSIP amongst their morally superior neighbors while hiding inside their homes with their blinds shut. When all It takes is maybe TALKING to those homeless people, maybe even befriend them on the chance that they too are PEOPLE just like they are. It's so fucking disgusting.

I want to point this out in relationships...two people can be together for over 20years have a great 20 years and aomethi g happens and whatever it is .. makes one of them want out of the LOOK HOW AWFUL PEOPLE GET IN DIVORCE .... people who would have done anything for one another are now acting like monsters.... look at the ones with children.... the poor kids so yes rhere is a dark side in all...

The pandemic here in Canada showcased how quickly people can turn authoritarian and become comfortable with it. We learned nothing from history about the evils of authoritative regimes.

He’s right. In any given moment or situation you will always find those that want to lord it over others. The world is full of these types. The meek shall inherit the earth. Guess what? These aren’t the meek. I’m 66 and I’ve known and felt this since I was a child.

Unfortunately, most people don't see it that way.
I myself have questioned myself, and depending on the circumstances I probably would acquiesce to the dark side. Had I been a German in Nazi Germany, more than likely I would have believed that propaganda. Until we are confronted with real circumstances we really do not know.
I try to stay to God's Word to avoid the depths of the wickedness and deceitfulness of my own heart.
