The lack of evidence for your belief is not the problem of those who are skeptical.

This feels like an evangelical training video: "How NOT to evangelize." It's got the two actors portraying the scene, but it's missing the second half where the instructor comes on to explain what they did wrong. (Apart from Paulogia filling in that bit.)

I got the feeling Cliff got so angry it was as if the was saying, “How dare you challenge my unfounded claims!” He got way more defensive than she was assertive.

"What about Arostotle and Herodotus and Caesar ..." or whoever

And which one of them rose from the dead?

It's worth noting that this is acting. This isn't a real interaction. But as a learning tool, I still think it's valuable.

How could I possibly set an evidentiary bar so high an all-powerful god couldn’t clear it?

A god who can't create a polaroid definitely can NOT raise a dead body.

Another yes vote...that this yelling match is "scripted religious theater".

You started talking about how high or low the bar was and I was hoping Low Bar Bill would get included in the discussion. That and the jingle would be great, always great.

Instead of crucifying him, or following crucifying him, they could have chopped him up.
Or better yet, have multiple accounts from many people that they witnessed Matthew's zombies.

Her heightened emotions are exactly why I don't usually do in person debates. Unless I know I can have a chill conversation with someone, like JW's or Mormon missionaries, I just know I'm going to turn into an irrational embarassment.

What I don't understand is - if god did raise Jesus from the grave why didn't he just have Jesus remain on earth as the only human that never dies. That would be very good evidence of something. It wouldn't prove he was the creator of the universe and everything in it but it would be proof of something extraordinary. What's not convincing is the idea of a man that lived, was crucified, and is now gone. That's very ordinary.

I still maintain this was staged so the preacher could espouse his “message”. People in a heated argument, in my experience, do not wait patiently for the opposer to finish their drawn out responses; especially when they put words in the other person’s mouth!

Well his god did that to him. Like you said God could have done it during the times that it would be easier to confirm his exisitance.

I'd have a tough time with a street preacher because a) I consider it to be obnoxious no matter what it is, and b) it's the epitome of arrogant to stand there screaming at other humans telling them they're going to hell. Catch me on a chill day--okay. But I don't suffer fools gladly. This pastor demonstrates a huge lack of finesse with a conflict. Instead, he could have asked her what would be similar to medical records that would do it OR what else she would need. He might also have wished her a good day. Trying to dominate someone who's upset NEVER EVER is a good plan. Be like water.

So, the one who yells louder knows the truth?
And we should believe the one who yells louder?

People writing a story is not historical knowledge...

The Polaroid reference was probably from back in the day when Polaroid had the self developing film and the cameras were popular. It's a bit like saying "Google it", when someone means do an internet search, or "hoovering", meaning to vacuum. Both came from a brand, but using the brand name has a generic meaning of doing something the branded object did.

So if witnesses saw Jesus alive again according to Cliffe, then they didn't go on faith, they had evidence. Why doesn't Jesus present himself today physically so the present world can have this evidence to. Why is it faith now?
