Just got mine literally today and I'm quite happy. But I'm surprised that it doesn't feel as amazing as I think it would, in comparison to my previous beloved Driving Force Pro which is like... A whole high schooler's age older.

I think if you're in a country where you can get a direct drive wheel for $350+ then get one. Even the Cammus C5 looks awesome. Otherwise, if only the G29 is the option (and the T150 isn't available) then get it for at least 1/3rds the price of the equivalent direct drive if you can't afford the jump. Don't buy the G29 new, many are selling them nearly new or barely touched for half or 1/3rds their SRP.

Also for 400usd you can get a moza r3 for the whole kit or a fanatec csl dd ready2race for 399 and it's 1000x better imo ( i upgraded to a csl dd from a g920).

A g29 holds a much better value proposition for someone that is trying out sim racing for the first time, but only on one condition -> that you buy it used. Ive seen G29s in good condition for as low as $100. The fact that it comes with a clutch pedal means it already has great value compared to even most cheap DD bundles where you have to purchase a clutch for an extra $50 without any brake mods or loadcells. Entry level 3 pedal addon options are so scarce and generally out of stock and even when you can find them they are usually the price of a used G29/920 alone.

Then when you want to upgrade you can keep your logitech pedals and find a DD base and wheel on the cheap. For beginners its a no brainer should you manage to pick up one for that price.

I got an pxn v10 recently for 258$ new. Its really good and the force feedback is not as bad as many reviewers are saying

i would go for a used thrustmaster tx as it gives u more options to upgrade and not have to get a full new wheel

fanatec ready2drive bundle is $400, you can add a load cell brake for an extra $130, and you can add a SHH shifter for $100. $630 and you have a direct drive setup with load cell brake. or $400 for direct drive with option to add load cell and shifter later on, as well as upgrading from 5nm to 8nm torque with just a ~$35 power supply

Got mine 6 days back at 150, 000 naira, (about $130).
Everything (including the gearshifter) works great.

Got the G923 on amazon a week ago for $234 as a limited time deal while the G29 was still $299 sold from amazon. Just arrived yesterday, haven't gotten to try it yet. This is my 1st wheel so i feel like it'll be good enough to start out with.

Anyone getting one of these I recommend getting a hall-sensor mod for the pedals so you can forget about cleaning the potentiometers. Otherwise this thing is super reliable, I've used mine for over 2000 hours since 2017 and it's still solid as the first day.

Is the g923 better or the g29 for ps5? Most games I’ll play with it are open-world games like crew motorfest. Or should I get the thrustmaster t248?

The csl dd is a good option for another 150 dollars or something

I actully recomend thrustmaster t248 bicus it is stronger and more modern and when on sale it is cheaper it is like 280 euro
