Forget this. I've watched countless videos on "how to shuffle cards" and I just cannot do any of them.
Edit: also magic tricks. Lol I always tried as a kid

I do this except without a flashy bridge shuffle to combine them. When you were holding the two decks wedged into each other...you just had to push them together to achieve the same result. Doing the bridge just bends cards and is flashy.

I used to love practicing shuffle tricks on old decks as a kid and build card houses. Absolutely had to use the rough shuffled decks for card houses because it curled them slightly. I can't do that to my mtg cards

if you're looking for the actual name for this shuffle, it's a pharaoh's shuffle. The only difference, he shuffles from the side rather than top and finishes with a sideways riffle shuffle. It does damage cards unless you know how to blossom and start from the top corner into the side of the side of the deck

Thank you just got into magic after a 20 year hiatus lol. Started my first commander deck and totally couldn't shuffle it lol. So I actually would watch how other player's did it. Wish I had this video at the time lol.

I learned a similar technique from Dzeef but he didnt include the last step. Definitely will start fiddling with that now.
