Quantum mechanics, relativity, space-time, Schrödinger's Cat, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, you've heard of all this stuff but you assume that there's no way you can understand it. Think again! With a little bit of preparation, this modern physics playlist will make all of the above intelligible on the conceptual level to any and all viewers! You don't have to feel stupid at dinner parties anymore, impress your friends with a working knowledge of time dilation and quantum superposition. What are you waiting for? Get watching!

❤❤❤ I think sometimes the worst enemy of people who want to learn anything is the idea that we aren't smart/talented/good enough to kearn it. Fear of being "found out to be stoopid" seems to stop a whole lot of people from learning stuff that are actually pretty amazing to learn...

"Before we learn Modern physics
We must understand classical physics"

okay... **Shamefully walks out of the classroom and enters the one next door**

I like how you do this so an undergrad can understand it. I'm on the bridge into calculus based physics and all the text I find are just utterly complicated. Maybe my I need to work on the calc more. Either way, good job and thank you!

My grandfathers name is Clerk Maxwell. It was recently I watched a documentary about James Clerk Maxwell. I has a ..Bing...moment and realised that is who he is named after.
My great grandfather studied at Kings College London where Maxwell taught. I assume he was very impressed by him. Maxwell may have even been one of his masters.

I loved modern physics in university, even though some things were slightly over my head. Hopefully Dave can help me understand a bit better. :p

Professor David ، Your explanation is good, thanks.
It is known that the constant = a numerical value, it has no physical unit.
I have a question: Why does the general gravitational constant have a physical unit that does not refer to a known scientific term such as pressure, force, speed, work, power, etc.? where
F= mg=G ( m1×m2) / X^2 = 6, 67×10^(-11) [ m^3 / kg S^2 ] ?
Thanks 🌹
