i wish i could explain the amount of nostalgia i experience watching anything like this. every town, region, state has their thing and blue crabs in maryland are nothing different. BUT there is something special about sitting in a backwater "restaurant" eating crabs, drinking beer and judging each other on how well they picked their crab. the accents are horrendous, to be honest, but damned if they aren't endearing to hear when you've been away from home for so long. So glad Mike Rowe remembers where he came from and takes the time to show y'all a glimpse of how good it really is.

This reminds me of a long time ago I worked at a grocery store that sold dried peppers in bulk. The first time I went to restock it a guy told me to get a mask, I thought he was joking so I just started dumping the boxes of peppers into the display case. Man I was DYING! Basically like Mike was during this video x100, crying, choking, sneezing, I could hardly breath but kept trying to just work through it. Them peppers in large quantities are freaking ridiculous lol.

I live in Baltimore and I am SO GLAD this rumor is being dispelled. Old Bay is not crab seasoning, crab seasoning is a very specific blend of multiple things. Old Bay may be an ingredient in some, but it's mostly made by hand at seafood restaurants/ wholesalers

I love crab, but blue claw are alot of work, but they are sweeter than must crab .and Mike you are the greatest . I met you once when I was a child in Va. On a dairy farm, I was to shy to be on film, I'm sorry if I wasted your time, but I just want to say thank you for what you do , I love watching your show, and I've enjoyed watching you talk about current events on the news and in the media .
