How to make a TRANSPARENT FILM TITLE, TEXT or INTRO tutorial for Lightworks

When I add "black background" it goes en FX effect on timeline and I cannot take it to V1 or V2. I´ve tried a couple of times now and it won´t work :-/

You're going to fast and there is no verbal explanation of what it is your doing. Doesn't help at all!
