Thanks for your help, helped me remove a text from the rest of an image as a transparent - all I needed to be told was to save it as a png, which other tutorials couldn't do as they were so long and complicated. Thanks again for your simple '1 tip only needed' help.

In case it says "smart object is not editable" or something along those lines, you have to rasterize the image first.
