The Xbox and Activision Blizzard buyout is so massive that even Sony PlayStation has finally responded to the mega deal by saying they expect Xbox to keep all the Activision games on the PS5/PS4. But will that happen or is PlayStation afraid of this new Xbox?

I like how Sony has paid publishers for years to keep games off of Xbox for a certain amount of time and then Xbox just goes and buys the entire publishers along with all their studios! 😂 That’s like someone telling a cashier to not let you buy candy for a year and then you just buy the place where they get their supplies and the entire store. 😂

I find all this "it's not fair" crying going on by Sony and their Fanboys/girls.... They don't seem to have a problem with Sony paying for exclusive rights to Street Fighter 5 and keeping Final Fantasy 7 Remake exclusive, yet you take away Call of Duty and they have no problem whining.

I love the salty taste of their tears.

Sony is low key scared of this, the real scary part is that Microsoft is not done with acquiring studios and they can buy their way into antitrust laws by sharing some of the games that makes sense to be multiplat along with some other stuff which is smart business at the end. Gamepass is the main reason why there are doing this because they want to increase amount of subscribers and rich a billion gamers

I think the 4d chess move isn't cod. It's adding 10% of Activision/Blizzard's 400+M users to gamepass. Being able to say that gamepass has the current 25M + the new 40M subscribers a month is the real goal!

We all need to start a little slow clap back to ps and say, well done. You laughed at Xbox for having no games. Now they own Bethesda and Activision blizzard to name just a few. A lesson on why you don't mock your competitors. Them words have wiped billions off revenue. I wouldn't of poked the bear with bottomless pockets.

We actually have to pat Ponys on the back for this one. They just never shut up about Xbox not "having games". So now it came back to bite them on the ass. Hope they're happy. I am. Xbox will keep the contractual agreements with Sony until the acquisition is final. After that, it's all bets off. Wait until uncle Phil lays out the Activision/Blizzard Xbox exclusive list in 2023. Sony didn't care when they kept making secert deals with developers for new IPs for exclusive playstation games. Now they go crawling to Xbox because call of duty would hit them big time.

But look Phil can’t really say if it’s exclusive or not. The deal isn’t 100% complete. By his recent tweet, Phil could mean existing titles will remain. But newer titles could be exclusive.

I've been an Xbox and PlayStation fan since both of them came into the gaming world and I gotta say...

This was not just a big move for Microsoft's Xbox Ecosystem, but a *smart move* as well.

I find it hard to believe that Microsoft would spend $70BN on a publisher whose games were already multiplat only to continue status quo.
