House Republicans on Wednesday chose the little-known conservative Rep. Mike Johnson to be the next speaker, with Democrats already pushing forward with attack ads on Johnson's record on abortion. CBS News congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane has more on his record.

You failed to inform your viewers that Johnson's plan never mentioned continuing resolutions but focused on providing a schedule to tackle the individual budgets and present the House budget before Nov. 17. Unlike McCarthy Johnson has advised the House members to be prepared to work even on Monday's and Friday's to get the people's work done. Another statement advised the House members to not make vacation plans next August because they will be working unlike the 6 weeks this past August when McCarthy sent them home so he could avoid completing the budget on time with single, individual budgets. It's time to tackle the hard work they were elected to do.
