After a long history of Sufferings, China is very pragmatic (. “Doesn’t matter white or black cat, so long it catches the rat”). Stop being poor. Work hard. Do business with everyone and get rich. Secure your wealth.
That’s the major difference between China and India. India, still colonized in the mind, is still talking ideals like democracy, not knowing these are mere ideological gimmicks of the west to fulfill their selfish agenda.

How many military bases does China have outside its borders compared to the US 800 worldwide. The US has participated in 200 wars in its 250 years as a nation. How many wars has China participated in? So where's the threat coming from? Why is the BRI mentioned as a threat? It is designed for good connectivity and fast transport of goods?
