ASEAN countries understand that having US bases in the Philippines means Philippines had given up its sovereignty.

How is it possible you’re asking people’s opinions on what China will do while you haven’t got 1 single China expert (let alone someone from China) to give the Chinese insights? It’s like telling people who have never seen penguins that they’re pink

"When the Philippines gained independence in 1946, the Philippine nationalists wanted to claim the Spratly Islands. The American advisors, however, discouraged them due to the fact that the Spanish-American Treaty of 1898 clearly stipulated that the western limit of the Philippine islands did not include the Spratlys. China said it has better human rights than US as China life expectancy 79 years is longer than US 77 years. China also has no homeless and there is universal health care system in China.

The US heavily depends on China. China holds 780 billion dollars of US T-bils. Almost all parts of my PC are made in China.

Guys didn't understand the Chinese meaning of traditional friendship which only means friendship between the people of China and the US. Nothing to do with the two governments.

How about Philippines stole Thitu island (2nd largest Spratly Islands in the South China Sea) from the Republic of China in 1971 on a stormy day? I perceived that is ok to you, right?
