I really hate when political leaders use the resources of the country for stupid or unnecessary things. Most of those buildings are empty and those communist statues are creepy. Rural Turkmenistan is poor and underdeveloped. He could've built a thriving country, he built a museum of marble architecture and statues.

Their president Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov is the most favourite object for memes and jokes among all the former Soviet Union countries' leaders. I subscribed on "Chronicle of Turkmenistan" channel starring him, it's very funny.

I have been in Turkmenistan in summer 2019 and been in circus also, they are not banned they actually show also circus everyday in their TV. Former leader died in 2006. Also months are not anymore those, they changed them back. About pet dog law I don't know but new leader loves his dog so he built golden dog statue 2020.
