What's happening is the fuel is dieseling from being too hot in the cylinder and self igniting, take advantage of this and use a dual fuel system that uses diesel after the engine is warmed fully from full load and you will make more power. We used to do this with our 2 stroke weed eater when she would overheat we just switched to diesel fuel and she cut even harder and would go all day non stop, diesel is an amazing lubricant, better than mixed gas by miles and loads more power in it. Once its in runaway territory it's time for the diesel and real power show starts, just keep the rpms up and she'll rip like hell.

I had this happen with a Honda spree I was out of gas so I put 20% nitro RC fuel in it and this happen I bet the spark plug was glowing cherry red like a glow plug

I once had the same problem wit my pocket bike 50cc th n we closed the airway and it shut down

If tou couldn't get the filter off in time bc you didn't habe any tools nearby, would it work to apray some light on the filter to sort of "fog" the engine and lower the volatility (richen) the fuel mixture so its not so suspectable to self ignite?

Oef at least you ware not driving I had that with my Yamaha aerox 2 stroke 70 cc (mhr) 20 mill carb and that was scary AF. just before the en of the road I was able to stol the engine with my brakes 😅

I have That's! One time with aaa 40 or 42 cc cina air coled Zylinder Pocket bike i tacke up name: Zündkerzen stecker & thats sucker engine still runn hight speed bat not the nice way.

It’s burning pure oxygen lol 😂 I have had it happen to me and my 250r lol I pulled the plug wire and the whole carburetor and it was still running for over 10min lol being at that high of an rpm was just turning the oxygen to hydrogen it was awesome 😎
