I just sprayed my fridge's hinges with it. It was squeaking so loud that I woke up the neighbors every time I went for a sip. Now I stay hydrated and the neighbors stay unaware of my nightly fridge visits. But they'll know.... they'll know I used the precious.

As an HVAC owner and technician I've tried a few "better than WD 40" spray lubricants and always went back to the WD 40 brand. It seems to be the best in my opinion.

If you ever have to spray your rims make sure you do not hit your disc brakes with WD-40. You want to use brake cleaner for that.

Scott, I thank you for your professionalism and your hard work. I owe you a lot. I didn't grow up with a dad, yet I feel very proud and accomplished each and every fix on my old 97 (town car, executive) Panther plat. I was lost before you gave me the courage to... rev up my engine! to think harder and wrench on my automobile. she's got 132000 and I've got her back to 16 mpg and replacing the entire front end. cleaned the injectors and replaced the thermo, after a coolant flush. Cool video, Scotty....as usual. I too have been using WD-40 since I was a kid. I used it on my electric race car set on the little motor and gears to wheels. They would fly off the track :) still use it on my vehicles and around the house today. I equate it to duct tape. Something you should always have around.

WD40 actually brought back to life the central locking system in my old mk1 Focus, just a bit of the stuff around the door latch and it suddenly works like charm.

Scotty I never use WD-40 since it attacks electrical insulation and Bakelite and since I'm an electrician (foreman) it matters. I use CRC-2-26 which improves electrical properties and is a great penetrating fluid and will not harm electrical equipment. I won't allow WD-40 on any of my electricians trucks - I have had too many ruined breakers and wire insulation.
