Social Media: Considerations of a Professional

This webinar is for those who have interest in using social media in their professional lives. Dr. Beachy will walk through different social media platforms she uses and provide some tips for how to engage with an audience. Then, frequently asked questions pertaining to how to get started, how to deal with negative feedback, and how to decide how often to post, amongst other considerations will be discussed.

Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to discern between different social media platforms that can be used for professional endeavors.

2. Participants will be able to name at least two strategies/resources for utilizing social media regarding their professional endeavors.

3. Participants will be able to describe common barriers as well as solutions for engaging with social media from a professional perspective.
