Big Ram-Fat Tail-Long Locks-Chill Shear

preview_player
Показать описание
This guy is a Karakul sheep. They grow hair type locks over dense wool and store massive amounts of fat in their tails. These sheep are derived from the deserts of Central Asia and can be powerhouses under all that fiber. At the start, his feet brace
perfectly against my maneuver. His neck is strong and designed to withstand force from a full sprint head on collision from a dude just his size. He’s stubborn, but certainly not hurt. You can see him use that strong neck on the last side as I fight him to make him more comfortable. Thankfully, this guy didn’t mind a fresh cut or he’d have launched me across the pasture and taken off with what fleece he wanted left on 🤘🏻

No gym workouts needed for you. You showed him who was in charge, in a gentle, but firm way. I can only imagine the way he could have behaved if you hadn’t. It’s amazing and so are you!

That was really interesting! Normally the sheep look like they're cozy sacks of potatoes being flipped about, but this dude definitely showed that it's your skillful handling that gives that impression - not necessarily the beasts themselves. That boyo was definitely making you work for it, but man did he look great afterwards!

You are a bad ass, I don't understand how you can do so much at the same time all by yourself. I can hardly cut my 6 year old grandsons hair but he does have the same energy level as a tropical storm. Mad respect for what you do.

I admire you so much. Sheering is not an easy job but you have such talent that it looks easy. You handle each of these BIG BOYS AND GIRLS with expertise and compassion. I love how you can remove the stress for the animal and do an amazing job.❤️❤️❤️

I could see how tough it was for you to maneuver him but I could also see how cautious you were to never hurt him. Glad it worked out so well.

Seeing you trying to take that ram down for his haircut reminded me of days long past trying to get my 2 year old son into the barber chair. You were much more successful than I was! Nice work!

Y’all are amazing! This big boy gave you the best compliment when you can physically see the moment when he knew he could trust you and let you position him in whatever position you needed to keep bother of you safe! I hope this makes sense! Lol! 💕

I’m addicted to your videos…it’s fascinating. My sister has a tiny farm with 2 sheep. She uses their wool for knitting. I have a lovely scarfs he made me. I am fascinated by how relaxed your clients are.. a real compliment to your skills.

You have a gentle, no nonsense quietness about you that the animals must sense.

You make it look so easy!! I sheared my rescue sheep last week. It took me about an hour and I ruined my dog clippers! 😅 I had imagined it quite differently!!

You are a Joy to watch you do so much for the animals you
(de-fleece?) shave. Just like this big guy, they start to feel their "weight loss" & they become calm. At least I think
it does. 🐏 Thank you!

You are amazing! The way you get in there and get going is the best I've seen! Such a professional and oh so fast! You also have a wonderful way of explaining the whole procedure and about the quality of the sheep's wool - other detail as well. Like hoofs, what lies under the wool on the skin and more! So interesting! Congratulations to you and your wife. Excellent teamwork! Thank you!
