Ummm an STI cost like 35, 000, and a base mustang V6 was 23, 000 then. I think we can give the v6 a couple bolt ons and a rolling start to even the field lol. It's okay, your corolla with a turbo, awd system, and hood scoop is still a very nice car!

The fact you can pick up a 3.7 mustang for about 10 grand now a days but the sti mark up is 50k for a slow car there’s many other options and you won’t find a new sti for under 25k

By the way, the Mustang has intake, exhaust and tune, the STI is stock. Remember, people that buy a Mustang V6 are typically people that are broke. Any decent car enthusiast would buy at least the V8 GT other ways driving the V6 Mustang to "car shows" is just embarrassing.

10k more for a slower car? OK..sure.. for the 10K more you get a proper AWD system, brembo brakes, much better handling, seating capacity for 5, HID lights and don't have to feel the embarrassing .etiquete of driving the cheap Mustang. I would be embarras to drive a V6 Mustang because there are so many better mustangs out there (Boss, Laguna seca, shelby GT500) or even a GT.

I remember back in 04 how shity the Mustang V6 was. where were you back then? the STI was galaxies ahead...
