a lot of warehouse and factory work has become like this. and awkward hours, even monitor you going to the toilet and make you write everything down you have done and how long it took you as well as cctv watching you everwhere. and work in very noisey and hot conditions under alot of pressure from bosses. almost orwellian

Under cover 23 year old graduate. Jobs referred to are manual and labour intensive ones. What a waste of his expensive education.

I've worked here on and off 2017 was my last time working here worst place to work ever! They treat you like robots not as an employee you get warned for even going to the toilet absolutely disgusting! Targets to high bad pay stupid hours

I don't get why people still use Amazon, given what you're supporting.

At least on eBay, you're buying from other companies and there's a loyalty scheme. With Amazon, you pay them for your loyalty and they even charge you for a device that listens into you in your house so that Amazon can sell you more stuff.

Every now and again there's something I can only get on Amazon. Other than that, there's a tonne of other websites where you can get the same item for the same price, and with no minimum spend for free delivery.

"Saving a few bugs" ... it a f*ing usb-adapter or cable wouldn't just cost 10€ at the next electronics store, then I wouldn't be forced to buy at Amazon. Many of the stuf I buy also I would need a car and/or travel way too far to get it, so I prefer to get it delivered. And I'm not going to search for a new store for every item I buy.

Work is work it’s not a holiday, a lot of people in life are just lazy .Companies are supposed to pay you for doing nothing.?.

Worked there and didn’t see the problem. The problem is a very lazy generation. I only took the job for something to do during first lockdown.
