Euler's Disk is tons of fun to spin. I managed to get mine to spin for 2 minutes. The microphone made it feel when I was right there spinning it myself. Impressive work!

I've been wanting to do this for a long time now... Did not want to import one from the US, thanks for sharing! The phasing is amazing and the ending is sublime sounding. I wonder how comparable different takes would be. Very intriguing.

If you very carefully blow on (under) the disc in the end phase, you can get it to move for much longer. I've done this for minutes, annoying my colleagues at work

Do you know of any contact microphone that goes higher up in frequency than these? Preferrably higher than 20KHz. I love to sample stuff at high resolution and then playing it back at slower tempo to frequency shift all the content without loosing much of the top end aswell as shifting unhearable audio into the hearable range.
So far I have not been able to locate any that goes higher up than these. Well, there are accellerometers but they are far outside my pricerange :P
