Casting Ultralight on a Baitcaster is EASY!

Just used my BFS setup today for the first time and I’m addicted. Got a JDM Daiwa rod from digitaka goes down to maybe 3g realistically but I’m tempted to snag that Jenko rod for the super light stuff.

All depends on what you can afford
Thats a $200-$240 Diawa BFS specific reel I think its the Diawa Salaman Dura(sp)
If you fish a crapton of U-UL/BFS then it could be worth it but my $$$ cut off for reels is around <$100
I own over 2 dozen use and species specific fishing setups now not including outfitting my sons to fish as well.
Id be afraid to add up everything I have invested in just fishing rods and reels not including terminal tackle

I always backlash when i cast like that. Grew up with spinners and just got a baitcaster and i can only reliably underhand cast with them so far
