Two Way Tables and Marginal Distributions | Statistics

We introduce two-way tables for categorical variables, also called contingency tables since they show the distribution of a categorical variable contingent on another categorical variable. We'll see what a marginal distribution of a categorical variable is when viewed in the context of a contingency table. We'll also discuss how percentages can be used to answer questions involving multiple categorical variables. We'll finish with an example of using a two way table to construct a marginal distribution and make a bar chart for the marginal distribution.
