The Fastest Gaming Laptop in the World

This is the best performing gaming laptop I’ve ever tested. It’s XMG’s Neo 16, also known in the US as the Hydroc 16 from Eluktronics. It has support for water cooling, but even without the liquid cooler this 16” laptop beats the bigger 18” competition!

Not offering an OLED or MiniLED screen in a 3000+ bucks laptop is criminal imo

fun fact, if the cooler fan didn't have RBG on it, it wouldn't be able to cool as much as it does now. the flashy colours are integral to it's performance

We are expecting you to make a video on Intel HX series issues. Entire laptop community is worried right now.

How does Jarrod's heart afford this hinge test on a 3000 dollar plus laptop

if it's so fast, how long does it take it to do a 100 m sprint?

Did XMG get hold of some Legion chassis? 😂

Thank you Jarrod for this extremely detailed and comprehensive review. It's nice to see how many performance records can be broken just by providing even better cooling to the CPU. Also, the additional airflow with active keyboard cooling helps a lot. The same concept is also available in this year's XMG EVO 15, XMG CORE 15 and XMG FUSION 15, as they all use the same new keyboard with separate cursor keys, 4-row numpad and subtle yet effective air intake. One small clarification (18:25): G-SYNC is also available when NVIDIA Advanced Optimus is enabled. NVIDIA is maintaining a whitelist of games that are allowed to automatically switch the laptop display to the dGPU upon launching the game. Also, regarding Linux support (21:30): TUXEDO is planning to launch this chassis under the name "TUXEDO Stellaris 16 Intel Gen6" in a few weeks, including liquid cooling and full Linux support - the profile switching button will work as well. Meanwhile, if anyone in the audience has *any questions about XMG NEO 16* or any other XMG product, *please reply directly to this comment!* Thank you for your feedback! // Tom

Im confused between buying yoga pro 9i and legion 7i
What do you think is better for me
I'm an engineering student I have graphic designing and simulation tasks
I also want to play games and watch movies and tv series
The system should be able to play next gen titles like gta 6 (future proof gaming)
Which one should I get. And with what gpu and cpu

This looks like a nice upgrade for them. The styling has a lot of Lenovo vibes. I have the 12700H 3070TI Prometheus XVII Version, and it's still holding its own for anything I need to do. I like the move to all aluminum, as the plastic on mine is a little soft. I had to replace the bottom cover because some of it just crumbled after one or two entries to do some upgrades. At least Eluktronics had spare parts available, so that's good.

Anyway, looks really nice. I'm glad to see them continue to push the water-cooled laptop options.

Cheers
Rick

Mixing liquid and computers, what a great idea! I'm sure it will work as new in five years.

Guess the company saved itself. Some Chinese industry watchers expected the ODM to go down because their products have been falling behind Lenovo, ASUS, Red Magic but this design really caught up with the leaders

Man, even on air it's still wrecking the Scar 18. You'd really think they'd do a better job with cooling in such a big platform.

Better avoid intel cpus, 13/14th gen 🙂

dude I love your presentations about my favorite gadgets but just maybe don't try to make it too structured... maybe then you'd sound a whole lot more awesome and be super interesting to listen to and watch as well. just imagine that it's your best friend sitting behind the camera and imagine yourself being super excited to tell them about the latest and greatest in technology! Cheers man! I really love your take on the latest gadgets! Love from India

The chassis design looks very legion inspired, maybe a bit too much. But the legion's are great, I love my 5 pro!

I just noticed 3:38: 1.23cm touchpad length seems a bit... tiny 🙃

I guess your eyes and brain might not notice the performance, but your ears will.
