Very few people predicted this kind of turnaround for Intel as recently as 18-months ago. When that M1 chip came out and AMD was already handily beating Intel in mobile and knocking on the door in desktop, Intel looked like it was in its death throes. It's too bad Intel didn't have the competition a decade ago. Who knows where computing might be right now if they had.

*_Word of warning for anyone that cares about the 4K 120Hz display._* He quotes the screen as having 100% sRGB when in fact Asus does not even make a gaming laptop that has that. Much less the GE76 lineup of laptops. IT IS IN FACT 100% Adobe RGB for the North American market and some parts of Europe. And 100% DCI-P3 for other parts of Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world wide market. This is just for those who care about that piece of information. Although it is rather important to some, and I was surprised when it was quoted wrong.

Why people just don't know they should raise the bottom of their laptop ?
Lower the temperature at least 10~15 for free.
Lower temperatures, everything makes for better performance.

Msi GE76 2021 3999 Euro vs Msi Ge76 2022 5000 Euro+. 5 Prozent schneller und 25 Prozent teuerer. Irgendwie passt da das Verhältnis nicht, weil die meisten kaufen sich so ein Notebook um zu spielen und nicht um irgendwelche Synthetische Benchmarks zu machen.

Confused why creators use the razor blade for comparing benchmarks. Not many people use those and they have so many problems. You should compare a system like this to any of the strix or zephyrus models. The lenovo legion 7 and 5i pro would also be a good comparison as those are wildly popular and would help show people the difference compared to their own system.

Matt, I’m in the market for a new laptop, principally gaming but I do a lot of work on the road. Been looking at the Legion 5I Gen 7 pro. Principally concerned about screen brightness. Is the 303 nits on this too dark compared to the four and 500 you get with legion?
