Check out this amazing little piece of kit I purchased from @axminster . It allows me to drill perfectly positioned, perpendicular holes in a range of different sizes. This can be accomplished on flat work or even edges, cylinders and spheres. Coming in at under £15, It is an inexpensive but well thought out entry that can make a real difference in your workshop.
