Which bass is more Punk, a Precision bass or a Jazz bass? I put together a medley of Punk tunes that I play on my 2020 Fender American Ultra Precision Bass and my 2004 Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass. Let me know which bass you think is more Punk!

The P you are playing is a PJ I assume with just the P Pickup, and The J bass is with both pickups on, and I assume in both cases the Tone is up completely? If that is the case, the P sounds better with what you were playing. To me, the Jazz sounded a little more thin-sounding. I also think a Stingray would sound good as well with that same Bass lick you played. Whether that be a single like what I have on my short-scale Sterling or a regular full-scale Active Double Pickup version or either, who knows as I never played the double pickup active full-scale version. Again of the two you played, I like the P. Now if you played the P as a PJ, would that be better than just the P by itself, that may be for another sound test video compared to both pickups on a Jazz, but again compared to a Stingray and a Humbucker bridge pickup whether it be a Series, Single-Coil, or Parallel mode like my bass has. I guess we'll see one day. I love the sound of that Stering, but only for specific types of music. Speaking of short-Scale, great short video as always LOL.
