I'm leaving on my first Japan trip in 2.5 days.. so this is perfectly timed to make sure I haven't missed anything! I might be overpacking on wet wipes because of your last carry-on packing video; I never thought to wipe down the seat etc before. I hate sticky or crumby things on my hands, so I usually carry some for that anyway in case I can't get to a sink ❤

The extra clothes are an essential! A few years ago I went on a flight to Hong Kong and 1 hour into the flight I opened my soda and it sprayed ALL over me. I had to put paper towels inside my joggers for the rest of the flight because I didn’t have a change of clothes so now I always have a spare set on long haul flights

Another killer video. Two things I love for my once a month planes rides. Especially since I’m normally going from Honolulu to the East Coast.

1: Tide sink packs or paper detergent sheets. I can easily wash my flight clothes while wearing my emergency backpack clothes if for some reason I don’t have access to my clothes. There are some really good all natural ones for the Whole Foods crowd too.

2: I basically switch my whole travel wardrobe to Unbound Merino. While not cheap I can pack a whole 14 days worth of clothing in under 10 pounds (8.2). I’m 6’0’ 260 XXL and with Unbound Merino, tees, boxers, socks and Patagonia Travel pants I’m good to go. They don’t wrinkle, stink and dry hella fast. I got wifey rocking UBM tees, tanks and dresses and her clothes are hella light now too. Totally worth checking out. There are cheaper options but UB is hella soft. Quince might even sponsor you 😂

For me I prefer a backpack with a crossbody bag. I like wearing my foldable Uniqlo jackets because it has tons of pockets I can put my essentials /passport etc into while on the plane.
