This masterpiece needs a layer of that delicious potato mash on the base of the dish (butter the dish first), then the meat filling, then the rest of the potato mash!

At 0:30 she adds a liquid after the wine. It’s just labelled “beef”. Is this beef stock?? If so, why is is followed by a bouillon cube?

Also would be handy to get measurements

Just one comment. Why wouldn’t you dissolve the beef stock cube in the water and then add it in?
