Guyana, Trinidad, and Suriname have awesome cuisines. I actually prefer their versions of Indian and Chinese cuisines to those from the mother countries.

My best friend’s family is actually Guyanese and they always have Chinese-Guyanese food all the time, as well as curry, salt fish, as well as Metemgee whenever I come over. So watching this video, definitely reminds me of her

I can't believe that's the first time you had Guyanese food! Check out Utica & Easter parkway in Brooklyn for more food!

My mother was best friends with a Guyanese lady in the 80s. She taught my mother how to make roti from scratch. 😋💯

I love my Guyanese peeps! As a Bolivian in Queens. I grew up around Guyanese folks and they always took care of me. Especially the moms :)

Little Guyana is my favorite place! All my family and friends are there, it reminds me of Guyana itself. Love it! It’s nice to know that other people are enjoying our culture!

Started watching you for your tips on Puerto Rico only a few days ago.

Here you are embracing Guyanese cuisine and the neighborhood I hold dear to my heart. Thank you for being open minded and showing Liberty Avenue to your audience!

As an American-born Guyanese girl whose family left Queens for LI twenty years ago, I will always stop by to Little Guyana bakery and Sybil’s to get my fix every once in a while ❤️🇬🇾

Most of the stuff you came across, the Indians in Jamaica and others make and eat regularly. We are all so similar throughout the Caribbean and Guyana is the cousin we constantly make sure is in the room.

Lol. Jon's reaction to Pepper sauce was hilarious. Never take Caribbean pepper 🌶 for granted. Waiting for the Trini food tour. Tonya did a great job of showcasing Caribbean NY culture.
