Can't thank you enough for this video. I got stuck trying to pay at the VFS site and wanted to make sure the ARN number was right. They call it file reference number(on PDF of application), government reference number and application reference number on emails. SO confusing and annoying. Call it one name for heaven's sake. Your video walked me through the treacherous applicaiton process. Thanks! I was stalled on this application which has taken the better part of 2 months. You almost have to do it in one sitting because you forget how to navigate through the convoluted process if you wait 1-2 weeks.

I think they updated the checklist for the fresh OCI application now you also need to submit the notarized affidavit for the photo copies you sending.

Thank you Suja, I just submitted my docs today. Govt. website form says that you have to self attest all the photocopies. And Dcoument checklist from VFS doesnt mention that. I self attested all the copies just to be on a safe side...
