Skyrim is a game loaded with places to explore and locations to visit. However, in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim there are a handful of secret areas inaccessible to the player. Hidden pieces of cut content, or developer test rooms that were never deleted, now only viewable with mods or console commands. So today, we take a look at 5 hidden inaccessible locations in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

“If you were expecting the huge desert region of Tamriel, you should look Elseweyr.”

4:21 That dialogue is used in-game. When you use the "Throw Voice" shout, that's the dialogue your character uses.

I think the planter NPCs have something to do with Bethesda's weird coding of the plant holders in homes. Apparently there's always a naked npc under the planters just... holding up your plants for you.

M'aiq being in a cell called "Elsweyr" was also in Oblivion.

The bandit holding cell is for the "Throw Voice" shout. It has different races on bandits who say the voice line depending on the Last Dragonborn's race. All voice lines must be connected to an NPC.

I have a theory for the last one: The guy falling from the ceiling is for testing the "flying mage" found in Solstheim!

This might be obvious to some but those planter NPCs help out with planters added in the Greenhouse wing of the homes added by the Hearthfire DLC. Those NPCs act like living respawnable "containers" for the plants that you grow there.

You don't go to Sheogorath's realm in his Skyrim quest, you go into Pelagius Septim III mind.

As I have inherited my son's, who is now at college, PS3 he has a vanilla/original Skyrim and I have just started playing it. Because you make these outstanding videos I am going to have to purchase the PC version. Being not so game / console / PC literate, well... you should have seen me looking for the stuff that is only accessible with the console commands. Maybe I need to invest in some video equipment. Talk about a monkey chasing a greased pig! Thank you for your work and videos!

Reaiklings dance during the thrisk Mead hall quest

The Riekling animation for dancing was *almost* completely unseen, since it was only visible in non-hostile Reiklings. You could view the behavior after siding with the Rieklings in The Chief of Thirsk Hall in the Dragonborn DLC. Upon returning to Thirsk Hall and sitting with your new fellow tubby gremlins, you'll see them exhibiting various behaviors with each other and walking between areas. It's neat, I always liked seeing how hostile NPC exceptions are in video games.

Note that you can also have a little blue desk gremlin dancing with you on adventures if you like. Just drop in on Thirsk Hall after siding with the Rieklings and you'll be able to order them to follow you.

"BYOH, possibly stands for Bring Your Own Home"... wouldn't it make more sense to stand for /Build/ Your Own Home?

Maybe the guy falling from the ceiling is "Wizard", the guy whom you encounter randomly in Solstheim where he tests out his flying spell, but after success he falls to his death.

Now imagine real life has some similar places to the ones hidden inside Skyrim. Pretty horrific thought, isn't it ?

I love these videos!
Could you do a series explaining/summarizing how certain things "work" in Skyrim?
Such as the Daedra being naked Nords in holding cells. Its so interesting to get a look behind the scenes.

(also, since Nocturnal actually does have an NPC that spawns in, does that mean there is a cell in which she just walks around?)
