Dr. Mike: See the gray skies coming? It means it's fall. You know what? That translates to you making less vitamin D in your body.

Dr. Crystal: Yeah. So, if you're feeling gray, how about getting a vitamin D blood test, 25-hydroxy blood test, and your goal levels are about 50 to 80 nanograms per milliliter.

Dr. Mike: And is this really all that important? Yes. There's a vitamin D receptor on
every type of tissue in your body, brain, heart, immune, and of course your bones.
So, get your vitamin D levels up and stay healthy.

It's very important to take some time in the sun, especially in cloudy areas(paying attetion to moderation ofc). Not entirely necessary to take a test to check your vitamin D
