Born and raised here in the O.C.
At 66 years old here's my take (and I'm NOT a RE agent!).
Currently, I live in Lake Forest for the last 10 years. Prior to that, I lived in South Laguna Beach for 19 years.
I grew up in Anaheim and graduated from a high school in Anaheim in 1975

Here we go: In one sentence, Orange County is very close to the perfect county to live in!
Weather, of course!
Law enforcement (i.e: crime). We have pockets, mostly Santa Ana, Anaheim and Stanton, other than that most of the independent city PD forces and the OCSD are top notch! Backed up by Mr. Todd Spitzer, D.A and we put that sewer north of us to shame!
OK, the elephant in the room! Yeah, it's crazy expensive here, and worst down here in S. it keeps out the lowlifes to a large degree!

I currently live in Huntington Beach and Anaheim (depending on which parent’s house I’m staying the night at lol) and when I eventually have my own place, I’m thinking about either Seal Beach or the nicer part of Garden Grove off Springdale and Lampson since those areas are more quiet and directly halfway between my parents’ houses lol
