So i can solder, braze, and everything else but im completely new to small electronic work. Im wanting to get rid of that garbage rf on my toploader, mainly to streamline my systems into one switch box. I have a couple questions regarding the techniques you used, such as why do you tin connections just to desolder? And what do you find works as the best flux, i see some people use a liquid and some use a paste. And would you suggest any sort of protective coating afterwards?
