To fix your ale demand...

Import Barley then use a malthouse to turn it into malt then a brewery burgage extension to turn it to ale.

It's more labor intensive but costs like a 3rd as much!

I just received the game as a late Christmas gift and have been watching a few different people build. I like how there are so many different ideas on how to build and manage. I'm definitely enjoying your content so far! I have so many questions about the mechanics, and the built-in information is incredibly lacking. Thanks for making these!

Gotta admit I am new sub and LOVING/binging this series but your wood management is giving me an Please cycle Forrester and loggersso they aren’t overlapping/keep moving loggers to different controlled spaces it may take longer to move the wood to diff industry buildings but it is far faster than waiting for new tree growth. and lastly PLZ for my blood pressure stop exporting planks 🫠 I subbed and am so impressed and so relaxed w every other resource management and LOVE the vision and look you’re creating but pls pls I wanna see u have the planks to MAKE these builds. Ty and pls keep this going I adore! New follower but already huge fan ❤

Warbows should easily outclass crossbows - just ask the ghosts of French crossbowmen at Agincourt or Crecy. Overpowered, outraged, five times the rate of delivery and superior accuracy. The only downside is that archers need to be raised from early childhood to be competent in their twenties. Crossbowmen can be trained in a few months.
You badly need to import the barley at much lower cost than the ale (and at least we can be thankful that the hops to make it into beer had not been discovered yet), then malt the barely and have a brewer (or two - maybe a good use of a double plot). You have enough population that the malting and brewing are effectively free.

I keep starting new games, but I get so intimidated when it's time to level up the burgages because I suck at keeping track of the extra requirements and forget starting in a new territory. Managing a new town on top of one I'm barely managing? lmao

Unreal engine destroyed this game for me. It looked so much more realistic before. Now it just looks like unreal’s version of reality, which is unrealistic.
