This is my favorite movie of all time. It was actually the first seed sown that led me to salvation in Christ when I saw it for the first time in my late teens I was convicted. I was totally ignorant of salvation in Christ. No one told me coming up as a child about the bible or God at all. But this movie did. Thank God.🙏

I know it's a bit silly and childlike but that is part of it's charm. I saw this movie a couple dozen times when it came out. Cried and laughed and sang along with every song. Profound things are often clothed in silly disguises. I interpreted the costume choices as wearing glad rags. A nonverbal way of communicating the joy within.

This musical comes across in many ways like a silly farce, but in reality contains exceptionally profound Christian teachings. It was brilliantly acted, sung, and executed.

This one is harder to understand. But we must try to understand it. Because it is very important.

Interesting reactions between the sheep and the goats. The sheep were unpretentious and did NOT promote themselves but were thankful as the Lord who spoke to them first. The goats tried to boast and appeal to the Lord because they spoke first before Him.

I've never seen this movie but have been watching small clips of it. It seems cute and I'll rent it to watch it in its entirety. It gives me Big Comfy Couch vibes lol

Victor captured Jesus' gentle nature.

The silliness was definitely one of the things I loved about this movie, and this is one of the scenes that encapsulates that (another one is the Parable of the Prodigal Son scene with the "I said kill it!" line the way Jerry Sroka said it that always cracked me up).

I watched this movie a long time ago but I never knew its name. Thank you very much!

I've not seen this movie in full, but from what I've seen it comes off as honestly as in some ways a better representation of Jesus than many because it 1. Focuses on His teachings, not just on His suffering which many presentations both religious (ie Mel Gibson) or secular (Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber) have already focused so much on that it becomes too easy to forget who Jesus was apart from that. 2. Portrays Jesus and the apostles as fun to be around and entertaining storytellers, not bland authority figures, because to a certain extent they had to have been that way in order to draw people in.

"Slowly I turn, step by step, inch by inch..." is DEFINITELY a generational joke! :D That made me laugh! I forgot that was in the movie. lolol Hint: Three Stooges: Niagra Falls

I was watching my blu ray of this and saw the tail on the back of Jerry. What was that symbolizing? I love the movie, BTW.
