Jesus gives the parables of the lost sheep.

Luke 15:2–7

2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

I grew up christian, lost my way around the age of my teens, started smoking and commiting adultery, being pridefull and hatefull on a mass scale, about 2 years ago in my mid twenties after a breakup I hit rock bottom, I had it I was deep in depression and anger, I remember cursing at God and I had finally asked for a sign. I did not think much of it, that same night I got my sign, and since then I have started to go back to church in search of learning who God is, I have been letting go of my past life and I know I need to cuange because the more I learn about God the more my life makes sense. I thank God he has let me live this long and kept me alive this long. To be honest I should not even be here, but I am here thanks to God, Jesus, and the holy spirit.
