This is so true. My father has a deep tan on his face and half-way to his biceps. He looks dark skinned but he was fairer when he was younger, but never wore sunscreen. When I was very young I used to think all men and boys were like that, with different coloured skin up their arms.

This is more impressive than fearing in my opinion. His legs are like 50 while his arms are like 82

I honestly think he got more issues with his skin than just too much sun. I see open infections and lack of washing

If you work outside a lot and don't want to have to remember to reapply sunscreen constantly, wear air-wicking long sleeve shirts, neck gaitor and a hat. Air-wicking material is thin and porous, so air can circulate and prevent you from overheating.
